USE YOUR SCRAPS TO MAKE CARDS

Don’t toss it!  Turn those scraps of paper into beautiful handmade cards.

If you’re anything like me, you probably have a growing pile of paper scraps sitting on your craft table.  Too pretty to throw away…but too small or too random to know what to do with.  Sound familiar?

Here’s the good news: those scraps are actually little pieces of creative gold.  With just a bit of intention, you can turn them into stunning, one-of-a-kind handmade cards!

Why save your scrap paper?

1.  It saves money – cardstock and designer series paper add up quickly.  Using your scraps helps stretch your scraps and make every purchase go further.

2. It sparks creativity – working with limited pieces forces you to think outside the box.  some of the most unique designs come from “making do” with what you already have.

3.  It reduces waste – crafting is more enjoyable when it’s a little more sustainable.  Using scraps means less waste and more purpose for every piece of paper.

Follow along with me each Saturday as I start Scrap Card Saturday.  I will give you ideas from the simplest to more advanced ways to use those scraps of paper and cardstock.
